CostUnit
The unit a price is quoted in: a minute of audio sent to STT, one model input or output token, one character sent to TTS, one Call minute, or one Call. A phone leg is rated per minute of its carrier (telephony), and from 1.38.0 (workspace ADR 0086) that minute needs a vendor list price above 0 in force, as a model does, or the phone Call is refused at admission (carrier_unpriced). From 1.53.0 (roadmap slice 2.8; workspace ADR 0036 rule 9, whose plural names these are in the singular of the released units): embedding_token, one token sent to the embeddings stage; request, one request to the rerank stage; knowledge_query, one retrieval of a Knowledge base, on platform; and knowledge_chunk_month, one Chunk stored for a month, sampled hourly, on platform. None has a price yet (targets), and the units measured outside a Call wait for the Organization-level usage events of roadmap slice 2.5. From 1.56.0 (roadmap slice 2.10; ADR 0036 rule 9 and ADR 0052 decision 8, whose analysis_minutes it is in the singular): analysis_minute, one minute of an analyzed Call per analysis, on analysis, at the price in force when the Call started, or when a re-run was requested; no price yet (a target), and test analyses are priced at zero. From 1.58.0 (roadmap slice 2.12; ADR 0036 rule 9 and ADR 0042 decision 9, whose decision_requests it is in the singular): decision_request, one request to the decision stage, on decision, with the raw unit of the descriptor kept as an unpriced measure; no price yet (a target). From 1.62.0 (roadmap slice 2.16; ADR 0036 rule 9 and ADR 0051 rule 8, whose process_steps and custom_events they are in the singular): process_step, one step of a Process instance that ended completed or failed, and custom_event, one customer-emitted event, each on platform; neither is measured within a Call, so both wait for the Organization-level usage events of roadmap slice 2.5, and neither has a price yet (targets).
